    Aidan is a credentialled Diabetes Educator and Registered Nurse. He is committed to providing holistic care to persons with a diagnosis of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. He is passionate about equipping people with skills to live a full and active life with diabetes and believes that people with diabetes equipped with the right tools and information can make simple lifestyle changes now, and these changes can have a major impact on a persons health both now and into the future. Aidan has over 10 years experience in working in the community health setting.

    His areas of special interest are blood glucose monitoring equipment and devices and interpretation,
    diet and its role in diabetes management and medications associated with treatment of diabetes.

    Outside of work Aidan enjoys all sport and plays both competitive basketball and tennis.

  • Margaret Weber

    / Diabetes Educator

    Margaret is a Credentialed Diabetes Educator with a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education. She has 10 years of experience working with people with diabetes in both general and private practice and over 20 years of general nursing practice. She has experience working at the Baker International Diabetes Institute and promotes their philosophies.
    Margaret sees those people with:
     type 1 diabetes
     type 2 diabetes
     gestational diabetes
    in both Access Health sites at Hawthorn and Richmond. She strives to assist her clients achieve their goals with their diabetes management through a multidisciplinary approach and ongoing support.
    Her mantra with diabetes is early detection and education on how to prevent the long term complications of diabetes, and the empowerment of oneself with self management strategies.
